Advanced Parcel Search: Search by owner name and/or school district ID

Add additional parcel search requirements to further refine parcels search.

In addition to searching within proximity to grid infrastructure and minimum lot size, there are some advanced search fields available in the parcel search form (expand the 'Advanced' section of the form to view additional fields).

Expand the Advanced section for additional possible search filters

Search for parcels by owner name

There are two methods to search for parcels by owner name.

Search for parcels by owner name (Parcel Search form)

Search for parcels with a specified owner (search area and min acreage fields still required).

  • Open the parcel search task

  • Input 'Search Area' and 'Min Acres' parameters (required even for owner search)

  • Click 'Advanced' in the parcel search form to expand the additional fields

  • Input Owner Name (or portion of owner name)

  • Click 'Get Count' to see how many parcels meet those search criteria

  • Click 'Run' to pull the parcels into the project

Search for other parcels from same owner (of existing parcel on project)

Want to see if a land owner owns other land nearby? Use this tool to see look up other parcels under the same land owner name as a parcel already saved on a project.

  • Find a parcel on the project map with the target land owner (e.g. Deborah Perkins owns the parcel selected on the map below)

  • Click 'See Actions' in the parcel pop up

  • Click 'Project Tasks'

  • Select 'Find other parcels from owner'

  • Fill in desired parameters in the form

    • Search Region - choose state, county, or none

    • Match Type - choose: Full match OR last name only

  • Click 'Get Count'

  • Click 'Run' to pull the parcels into the project

Search for parcels based on Land Use Code or School District ID

Search for parcels with a specific land use code (check county accessor's website to confirm which codes are appropriate for siting) or school district ID (check ReportAll layer to confirm ID code for a parcel in the school district of interest).

  • Input Search Area and Min Acres parameters (required even for owner search)

  • Click Advanced in the parcel search form to expand the additional fields

  • Input Land Use Code OR School District ID

  • Click Get Count to see how many parcels meet those search criteria

  • Click Run to pull the parcels into the project
